Should i safely assume that since SESA has forwarded the application to DOL, DOL would approve it.

I am very sorry to say that the answer to your second question is "no". Our law firm told us that DOL definitely can reject LC, especially under the current national unemployment figures. A coworker of mine actually told me that some of his friends (in both CA and TX) have been denied of LC. our lawyer also said that the only purpose of DOL is to protect US workers.

I think I will at least get RFE\'s if not rejected at the first round. And this is why I think my chance of getting LC is very slim:-( but for those whose company has not had any layoffs, the situation should be better. Anyways, I wish all of us the very best luck.

We need to keep our fingers crossed, keeping in view the current economic scenario and the unemployment rate and the layoffs. Hope for the best.
 
SF DOL

Anyone has any information what status SF DOL LC process now?
Somehow, I have not heard any case come out from SF DOL in the
past one month, is this weird??
Anyway, any information is highly appreciated.
