would it possible, receipt number not showing up online system

one of my friend received the receipt number for 140 from BCIS and when he checked it online, the status was saying not found in the database. Does any one has seen this before.

Could it be possible, the receipt number could be printed (sent ) wrong.

Which option is best for me. How do i analyse it.

My category EB3

1. File 140 and 1485 concurently.

2. Or just file 140

Can you explain advantages and disadvantages. please

It's more then a week now for my 140 approved, but i haven't got my EAD approved. My EAD filing date is 05/15/03. Could it be a problem?
