Do you have Adobe Acrobat 3.0/4.0/5.0 Reader installed on your pc? You should install Adobe Reader first and then try to open the file.Go to http://www.adobe.com to get it installed on your pc.

Next time, I will see whether I can make html file or not.html file should be easy to open compared with pdf file.

GC approved 6/14, PP stamped for me and family at Newark, INS on June 27. Waiting!. However,last week rcvd request for pictures for my daughter.
 
AVM changed to card ordered ....

PP stamped 7/10 Hartford CT.
Msg changed to "card ordered on Aug 21"

Rajesh..How old is ur daughter ? The reason I ask is because when I went for stamping they returned the pics of my son who is 9.

Passport stamped on Aug.23, at local INS Ctr in Cleveland, OH

I-485 approved through VSC on Aug.3.
PP stamped on Aug.23rd at Cleveland, OH (NSC jurisdiction).
The officer assured me that the I-89 papers will be forwarded to VSC.

Mine was approved on June 29th and PP Stamped on July 11th at Philly.
Still waiting.

quality check

according to my lawyer and another source in the ins office, when the paper stamping is done, and the files goes back to vermont or any other center, they do another check to see if they might have missed something. they call it "quality check" it is an ins term..

it is not over until we get the actual card..
 
Stamped on 5/28 Newark, AVM changed card ordered on 8/20

The last stretch is here...any idea how long it takes after AVM change to get the actual card?

My daughter is 10. AT the time of PP stamping at Newark,INS. I was told that pictures are not required. My son is 6 and for him I haven\'t received any such request.

Based on postings I saw several weeks back the time is 2 weeks or so.
