So, we are waiting on actual receipt notices.

I just couldn't resist calling the USCIS today. Got the same 90 day spiel from the lady. I am getting very impatient since the USCIS received my case on 06/29/07. Moroever, I did not put in any P.O.Box number on my fedex package. Instead, I wrote I-485 in big letters on my package. I hope it got forwarded to the correct department. :)
 
LUDs on I140

My case reached NSC on 28th June. So far no receipts. There are 2 LUD's on my 140 ( used 2 140 for PD porting ) dated July 28th. Hopefully uscis ve opened my application and receipts are on its way.

I-485 LUD 08/16/07. I think it's updated for our FP on 08/15/07
But no changes so far in my I 765 LUD or no information. My family got their EAD Cards physically.

Is it guaranteed that the receipt notices will be received only after the checks have cleared the bank?

Also, since there are no dates available for I-485, will they still deposit the check for I-485 or will they only do this with the checks for Advanced Parole and EAD?

Not necessarily.
But more often than not, the Notice Date (ND) is about 1-2 days prior to checks getting cashed. So, the receipts are printed before the checks are cashed. And then, assume standard mailing time for USPS to reach applicant/lawyer.

All checks will be cashed not just the I-485 as the basis for application of the EAD, and AP is the actual I-485 application.

PD becoming unavailable has nothing to do with the receipting of I-485 applications in the system. USCIS will continue the process of issuing receipts to applications that have reached before Aug 17. So, in essence, they will cash all checks for the entire packet AOS, EAD, and AP as long as your PD was current per the July VB.

Thank you for the answers. One last question...

Do you think there is a possibility of my file getting more delayed than usual because I did not put the P.O.Box number along with the address on my fedex package? I did write I-485 in big letters on the package itself.

P.S: I sent the package to Nebraska, but I am sure it will be sent to Texas since my I-140 was approved there.

I don't believe FedEx can deliver to POBoxes. For sending the package by FedEx, you should have used the full postal address.
However, personally knowing that the FedEx sort-point in Omaha, NE is aware of all such packets and that they have instituted a special project team to handle applications sent to USCIS, yours will most likely make it to NSC okay.

Secondly, have you tracked your package? When did you send it? Did you get confirmation that it was delivered, and signed for by someone from the USICS?

According to the USCIS website, if sending package by Fedex, one needs to include the P.O. Box associated with the type of application on the shipping label when sending the package using a private service provider. Here is the statement on the website:

I did send the package by Fedex and asked for their signature. I actually have the Fedex receipt with signature with me confirming that the package was received by them. However, I got to know of including the P.O Box number from the website show above only after sending the package. So I am a little worried about my package making it to the correct department.

But if you statement about the special project team is true, I shouldn't be too worried then.

And I was eligible to file based on the June visa bulletin(not July).
