Seems there is alot of legislation being considered. The one peice of info that I have not heard before is this....
In addition, high-tech workers who have worked in the U.S. for three years may be allowed to adjust to permanent resident status without regard to the annual cap of 140,000.
Has anyone else heard this 3 year requirment before? It probably does not affect many people, but it is an important point to note.

They are not talking about immigration because they have better things to talk about...medicare....agriculture etc etc....+ budget deficiet + debt
Dont worry about what they are talking about....just wait for the vote..

It was a very close call. Although, none of them actually debated on the immigration reforms as such, the bill came under a lot of scrutiny because of the other tax cuts that it is proposing.indio0617 said:The vote was 12 -10 for it.

So when does it go to vote in the Senate?
