To remove conditions do we need an sponsor or affidavit?

No. Just affidavits from relatives/friends stating they know you and your spouse and that they believe you two married in good faith

you mean letters? affidavits would be financial support as we got one before we apply and went to the interview...

Such affidavits are not mandatory.

It is not mandatory, yes. However, you should know how vague USCIS can be when it comes to requiring "specific" documents. Despite that, two affidavits are actually recommended by USCIS, and it is in print in clear language in the I751 instructions.

I just want to know if it is afficavit of support or just letter stating that we were together?

You have already filed "affidavit of support", form I-864 when you originally filed for GC. You do not need to file it again with I-751.

No I-134 or I-864 is needed for I-751.
Affidavits by friends/family as witnesses to the marriage are not mandatory either.
