I'm Canadian and planing to go to work in Florida under the TN visa but the head office of the US company hiring me its located in NJ. Could I get denied the TN Visa because Im working remotely for the company?

Thank you

Did you find an answer -- can you telecommute while on a TN?

Hi. Did you get an answer to this? I too am looking desperately for an answer. I do not want to find out the hard way.

Thanks.

"Hi. Did you get an answer to this?"

Based on some of USCIS' decision-making logic, it's actually a valid question.

USCIS can deny one's application because they are applying "too early" from official work start date (1 week before). If someone has credentials to be accepted for TN, who cares if they enter a few weeks early to get settled, explore the area, whatever.

I've not applied for TN but I imagine its similar to other work-related Visas. I applied for E Visa and some questions were in the vein of:

- What type of work will you be performing?
- What services/products does the company provide?
- Where do you plan on living?
- Are you familiar with US tax requirements?
