TN visa holder Employer switching

Good Morning to everyone.
I am a Canadian citizen and I do still have a current TN visa status for as specific company in New Jersey ends by the end of 2022, They are restructuring the company and my place will not be necessary no more, I already applied to another company in Tampa Florida they do the similar type of job, and they are willing to hire me. How is the process to switch from one employer to another one and how is this being done with the border between Canada and USA is still not fully open.

The process is the same as usual. You go to border with your paperwork and get a TN I-94. The process is not impacted by COVID, other than you should only go to the CDn border and turn around, telling the CDn officer that is what you are doing. You will not need any COVID test to do this.

If you fly, you may need a test however, but the process is same as before.
