TN transfer to H1b?

I'm on a TN under Management Consultant, I started PERM for a new position(but same employer), but since it will take 5 years for me to even file my I 485, I'd like to switch to the safer H1B.

Can I use the old LC to get a the H1b?

If so, and I get H1b, can I leave employers and still use my old I-140? Or would I have to start over at LC?


Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I don't see why I wouldn't be accepted for H1B into the job that my employer has filed a Labor Certification for, unless you aren't able to fill it until you get the greencard?

I hear you can only carry your I 140 if you have I 1485 filed 180 days correct? So I I would need to start over if I left companies?

Why would you need LC to file H-1B ? Have your H-1B already reached 6 year limit ?

are you talking about LCA ?
well, LCA has the validity period printed on it and you need to check.
