TN - time of day and phone call

Hello everybody,

I am going for a new TN status for a new employer through Pre-Flight Inspection at one of the major Canadians airport next weekend. It has been almost 3 years since I last applied and had a TN approved and I had a few questions - I know a lot has changed with regards to DHS, USCIS, etc so wanted to make sure I am prepared.

1. I need to go on the weekend due to cost of flight/timing. Are the officers still issuing TN's on a Saturday / Sunday?
2. Does the officer generally call the employer/future boss a the time of adjudication?

Does the enter key work on your keyboard?
if there is a flight to US, CBP will be open and accepting TN petitions.
If you are uncomfortable with your departure time, change it. If you can't, oh well....

Thank you for your quick reply. I assume your comment was due to the length of my message. I edited to just the very basic questions without background knowledge, hoping for an additional answer from anyone who many know. Thank you again for the quick response to the previous poster.

It was the block format that was unreadable.

TN is a business visa. You should thus conduct yourself in a business-like manner, which means business hours. No one is forcing you to take a flight in the early morning on the week-end. Will they call? Who knows? You went over your petition -- if it's air-tight and your officer is in a good mood, you will have no problems. You can only control the quality of your petition.
