TN + TD renwal by mail

Hello All, One more question today:

I am renwing TN and TD by mail I filled the I-129 and I-539 and employer ready to mail them via fedex with receipt. The question is: Can I send both in same envelope? One check of $390 or two $200 + $190 (new fees on site)?

In my opinion, you have to issue two separate cheques as this will reflect the receipt notice # for each app form (I-129 and I-539).
 
These are company checks, would I still get a receipt? I mean would USCIS mail us a receipt back? So I would put both application in one envelope and two seperate checks. Would we get any feedback mail? Should I provide them with an email so they send us any tracking number?
 
One more question in this topic. When you send your resume for a second renewal with the same employer, does the resume need to have the latest job description with the current employer? or would last year's resume (previous TN) be sufficient?

Since a resume is not required, i guess it doesn't really matter.

If your TN category requires experience (only a few do) then LETTERS are needed, not a resume.
