Hi,
Any anyone please advise whether it's possible to have a TN for casual employment. i.e., for example, have a TN for 3 years, but not work and not get paid for some months of the year because of casual/seasonal employment. Is there is a limit on how many months you may not work etc...
I would assume this would require the seasonal or casual nature of the position to be mentioned in the NAFTA authorization letter.
Thanks,

The moment you are not actively employed, you are out-of-status. This is known as "benching" and is not a legal manner of staying in status. If you are seasonally emplyed, then you should only be in US seasonally as well.
