Hey Guys

I will be going to the CBP to renew my TN- for the second time in Nov.
I have some questions:

#1 -- In my job offer letter does the language need to change e.g. do i need to say extension or can i literally just change the dates on my old letter and submit all the same documents as the last time.

#2-- My TN expires Nov 28, 2008-- i will be going to the boarder a week or so before hand... should the date of the letter be Nov 28th or the date i am going to the boarder?

#3 -- In my original letter it states, "this position is part of a new pilot program, which has received its initial funding for this year. We will continue to asses the progress of this pilot program to determine its impacts on clients .... " if i am applying for 3 year do i need to change this statement?

thanks again

1. Either way. but write a new letter, as question 3 shows, it wasn't the best letter.
2. The date can be any day from today on. You will get 3 years from the day you go regardless
3. This verbage was superfluous last year and doesn't even apply now, so 86 it.

Tn renewal

In my new TN letter, in part of the intro paragraph it states:
... " is requesting a temporary continuation of employment for 3 year period...under NAFTA .... Legislation.. as social worker"

Is temporary continuation acceptable to be in the TN renewal letter?

Thanks Again

p.s. -- i notice on the State travel website they still have not updated to 3 years under NAFTA

Another question:

If my flight leaving is at 3:30pm.. do u think if i get to the Airport at 12 noon that will be enough time for processing to make the flight?

Thanks

No problem on both issues. I assume you are leaving from YYZ? 3 1/2 hours should be just enough, given my experience last time (on a sunday). Just don't do this Thanskgiving weekend.
