TN related degree question

Hi all,

My company recently prepared a TN application package for me under the mathematician/statistician category. The job duties line up with the TN job category but my education consists of a BA and MA in economics, with a heavy course load in math/stats (17 math/stat courses).

Should this be okay or should I expect difficulties when crossing?

You will need to prove your math education to the satisfaction of the border guard. It is not a slam dunk.

Oh ok, was hoping this would be a slam dunk case haha. I'll keep that in mind, thanks for your reply.

A slam dunk would be a degree in Math, or an Economist job.
