I am in a dilemma here and really not sure what to make of this.
Currently, I am on a TN in IT sector here on the west coast (4 years in total, renewed a couple of times). In 2023, my employer had agreed to sponsor my GC. They started off by submitting the PWD based on the proposed job role, job description/duties etc. A response was received from the DoL based on the submission. The annual salary from DoL is almost 22% higher than my existing salary. HR now does not want to pursue cause they are saying that they are not willing to pay the compensation for this role listed by DoL. This has dashed all my hopes and really driven me into anxiety and depression!
What are my other options? How do I go about this? I shall be eternally grateful to you if you could provide me with some guidance.
