TN 1 and TD

Hello All!

I am soon going to apply for a TN status. I have couple of questions if you could help me resolve:

1. Can my spouse in TD status get a drivers licence
2. Can he get a social SN
3. Can he open a bank account under his name
4. I understand he cannot work on TD status but I hat other option he may have to earn
5. We will be selling our hone in Canada, so what happens to our bank accounts- I mean if we want to maintain our bank accounts what Adress do we provide the bank with.

1. Yes (temporary for the duration of the TN and TD)
2. No
3. Not sure, we have a joint account with both names.
4. Unless he can get his own TN, H1B etc.
5. You can provide your US address
