Emotionally a lot. Not a lot of money so far. Hopefully some peace of mind.

- To be able to earn lot of money and open business in India (but never been able to save)
- Elusive American Dream ( like chasing ones tail: education->job->car->wife->home-mortgage->death)

- Acceptance and not feeling you are one with tail
- Not feeling humilated at questions like "will you go back"
- Famil, Food and Tapri
- Being able to connect to everything unlike rebirth here to able to connect baseball, sitcoms and culture here.

- Only Private Enterprises for Power, education, telecom, Munciple services and Great retail revolution.
- Great Engines of Innovations and Ideas.

- regretting at the mid life (punk children and dead parents ) and end of life of being lonely ( playing Bingo at retirement home)
- Greatest security here is rule of law

- No kids, but it doesnt matter here because of social security and medicare ( i never understood why people have kids here, at least in India it's a symbiotic relationship)

- Anxiety

Initially, the life style of less populated environment. You can drive your car and go places, no schedule attached. Now my daughter and inertia.

Family.

Family, richness of culture and heritage; plus the feeling that my roots are back home!

Fear - job market/security
Security - financial comfort for family (of course, this only holds as long as there is a job !)

It's a tricky balance for them to be aware of their roots, culture and tradition and at the same time, imbibe the positives of American culture/"blend in".

Emotionally, a lot. Financially not much. Hopefully, the GC will give us freedom of choice in career as well as personal decisions!
