Hi everyone,
I'm wondering how long would we receive the first response after submitted the N400 application form.

1. After how long we would receive the letter to request the finger printing by average?

2.then after how long we would receive the notice for appointment of interviews?

3. Then how long we would wait to take the oath?

I really appreciate your input as I can arrange my life accordingly. :)

that's like asking how long is a piece of string

it's highly dependent on which USCIS District Office you will be processed out of, some are quick and some are slow

fortunately there is a website were a lot of people have entered their information so you can see the trends for your DO

go here:
http://www.trackitt.com/usa-immigration-trackers/n400

Select the green cross button "show filters" (beneath the banner add at the left)

once you do that, go to the right and use the drop down box "USCIS District Office" and select your district office

click the "go" button

Scroll across to see the dates/trends

My district office is Reno, NV. It only shows 3 old N-400 cases, can I safely assume that lack of many records in Reno means the office is fast?

hmmm, not to sharp are you? is that what you would safely assume?

let's think this through, if there is a lack of volume of individuals who contributed that must mean.... come on... I know you can get this, here's a hint.... how many people live in Reno? Did you look at the Vegas DO for a comparison of cases?

Or how about this, for the 3 cases in Reno, the most recent took approx 1/2 year... what would that tell you?

Look, I'm not sorry about being sarcastic if you don't use your brain and think a little bit for what would be intuitively obvious. I gave you the tracking site, do you need to be spoon fed everything?

Is there a reason to be hostile?

I was asking a simple question.

I was merely trying to validate my assumption which means "less volume of respondents to trackitt the less wait time" ?? Speaking of Las Vegas, I am actually considering a move there! How do you think Reno compares to Las Vegas in terms of N-400 process time? Without being hostile and sarcastic, what can you tell from the trackitt?

I'm not being hostile, I'm being sarcastic - big difference.

The reason I'm being sarcastic is either you are too lazy or too, um, how can I put this in a nice way... hmm I can't, OK, I won't say it, since it's a 4 letter word starting with D and ending in UMB, to figure this out.

Yet after my sarcasm, you go on in your post above to state "Speaking of Las Vegas, I am actually considering a move there! How do you think Reno compares to Las Vegas in terms of N-400 process time? Without being hostile and sarcastic, what can you tell from the trackitt?"

Seriously??? I point you to the trackitt site, give you instructions on how to use it, and you ASK ME, what I can TELL YOU about Vegas from the Trackitt site???

Are you really that lazy or that D***???

Get off your ass and do it for yourself! Or do you want everyone to wipe your ass for you?

As they say, there are 3 types of people in this world,

1) Those that make things happen
2) Those that watch things happen
3) and those who say "what happened?"

(not hostile, just appropriately sarcastic)
