Hi

I got my visa through approved I-730 form from a US embassy. I entered U.S. few days ago and at immigration I brought and submitted an envelope full of documents including I-765 form (Application for Employment Authorization). They told me USCIS will send my work authorization card later. If you were in same situation and you have got your EAD would you tell me how long it took for you to receive your card?

BTW what else USCIS will send to me?

Thank you in advance

Don't stress too much about your EAD. You can apply for SSN with your asylum approval, you can use that to apply for your driver's license. Thats all you need for employment.

Thank you mesbahul,

I don't stress about it. My question is the timeline. There is another reason that I am asking for the timeline. Do you know someone who recently came to U.S as a derivative of asylee ?
