timeline for F1 to AOS

I have a theory that the sevis system used to keep track of F1 students
actually makes the AOS procedure easier/faster.
So i wanted to start a timeline, only a timeline please no questions for those doing AOS and are on an F1 visa

Aight, same situation here....this is my timeline. Hope your theory is true cos i really need that EAD (just graduated from college and I have a 50k job waiting that I need to start on June 29th! Pray for me.......lol.

4/20/05:Mailed I-130, I-485, and I-765
4/22/05:RD for I-130, I-485, and I-765
5/09/05:ND for I-130, I-485, and I-765
5/10/05:Lud for I-130, I-485, and I-765
5/16/05:Biometrics and Fingerprints done
5/16/05:LUD for I-485, and I-765
5/20/05:LUD for I-130, and I-765
5/23/05:LUD for I-130, and I-765
 
F1 to AOS Timeline

hi Guys i am new to this forum.
I am on F-1 visa, married a US citizen and sent all my paper work on the same day as good_mannc .
............my timeline.......
April 20, 2005 filed i-765, i-485,i-131,i-130
April 22, 2005 chicago lock box recieves
May 10, 2005 recived NOA
June 1, 2005 done fingerprinting and biometrics

Now i am waiting for the EAD .........hope it will be approved soon..
 
unfortunately, SEVIS has nothing to do with how fast your AOS is processed... It only depends on how fast your local district is...

Filed for AOS July 2004. Will have to wait in the same AOS line as all people in Atlanta. A year and a half from now....

could it not affect how quickly the FBI background check is processed and then ultimately the processing of your AOS application
 
EAD Approved!

Hi folks, just wanted to let y'all know my EAD was approved yesterday. I'm so excited! I can now start working when I'm supposed to. I do however cautions folks not to be misled by my timeline since my EAD was approved because I went to see an immigrations officer at my DO who called the NBC to expedite the processing of my EAD because of my job offer. Y'all have a wonderful day and goodluck to all those waiting. The timeline is in my signature.
