Time to get EAD after filing for GC?

I am a GC. My wife's on F1(Student visa). How long will it take to get her EAD after I file for her GC?

About five years, if you just filed the I-130.

There is a long wait list for spouses of GC holders. At least 4 to 5 years before her number comes up on the list. Only then can she file for adjustment of status/EAD etc.
