I have looked for info on this, but haven't been able to find it.

Is it okay for court documents, letters and other supporting documents to be up to about 2 months old when filing N-400? My attorney took several weeks to look over my application, and now I'm finally ready to send it.

Thanks for input on this.

I read the whole thread about documents for N-400, and didn't see this mentioned, so it seems that it might not be an issue then. So, I'm mailing my application today.

Thanks cafeconleche for your reply.

It's court documents showing records and disposition of a misdemeanor charge of obstructing a peace officer in 1989, which I pleaded not guilty to, and which was dismissed after a deferred prosecution agreement. My attorney didn't believe I would have any issues. I was just thinking there might be some 30-day rule for the documents, like for the photos, but I haven't found any info to that effect.

hi,

I appreciate you in posting this question. Have they printed any validity date in your documents?
