It is very much in order

Thanks to Mightycount! By this list it is very clear that all the FPs are sent in order very much. Not by any last name/zip code/ASC basis. All these days we have been seeing lot of messages with various opinions about FP notice which are not true!
 
which number do you call to check for EAD approval?

Is it the same general (always busy) number? That doesn\'t say anything about AP or EAD.

Number & Time to call

The number to call is (949) 831-8427, a good time to call would be late in the night, very early in the morning. Basically, when the world is a sleep on the west coast. Hope this helps.

Got EAD cards

Got EAD cards on 9/25/01 by mail actually it was approved on 6/29/01.
Waiting for FP notices.

Location: San Jose
 
About finger printing status with FBI - does anyone has same experience.

PD: 6/00

Finger Printing scheduled on 27th Nov but done at San Jose on
30th Oct.

Called FBI and they told that the results have been mailed to INS.
They won\'t tell about if the print quality was good?. She told me
that INS has requested FBI not to disclose even print quality
earlier this year.

Not called INS yet, could not get through the busy lines yet.
 
AVM message on my EAD case has changed!

Hi,

I heard the AVM message for my EAD case, and found that the message has changed to "This case has been approved. On November 5, 2001 we mailed you an approval notice...blah..blah.."

Earlier message said "On October 30, 2001 after approving the case we ordered you a new card. It is taking between 120 to 140 days for us to process this kind of case.

I hope that the change of message indicates that the card has been mailed to me.
