There seem to be a number of updates for RDs in 4/01 - April mailers please add updates in this thread also so that other April mailers can get hope!!!

I got my approval notice on the 23rd Aug by mail (though the AVM still says 975-999 days...). I could not believe it still..

EAD is approved (per AVM), mighty count please update

As per AVM EAD is approved on 08/23. Says Card is ordered.
Don\'t know how much time it takes to receive. Any idea?
My last name starts with \'N\'.

Hi folks,

My wife and I just went to ASC (Story Rd, San Jose) for PR. In and out within an hour. No waiting. Nice personnel. Our FP was scheduled on Aug 31. But, before we finished our reason for taking FP earlier, the lady at ASC said no problem. Anyway, here are the dates:

ND: 04/12/01
Fax to INS: 08/15/01
INS sent out FP notice: 08/17/01
Received FP notice: 08/22/01
Scheduled FP: 08/31/01
Actual FP taking: 08/24/01

Question: how do we follow up with FP FBI to CSC??

What happens after finger printing

Hi Guys,

I called the FBI after only 2 days of finger printing and they said that the results have been sent back to INS.
What exactly does the INS do after it gets the finger print results? Why does it take so much more time?
