Hi all,

I really don't get this whole "first come, first serve" thing.
I mean, don't get me wrong....I wish all the best to those ND 02's who got approved but what about us with RD's 00 & 01. That's just not fair. I have a buddy of mine with RD 09/2001 and he just got his GC while I'm still waiting around. I check the darn status every single day hoping something's gonna happen soon, yet NADA, ZILCH, NOTHING.

I'm just overly furstrated.

All I can suggest is doing a status query via your legal representative or a Member of Congress.

There is no longer "first come first serve" rule

As I guessed and mentioned two months ago on this forum, BCIS no longer honors the "first come first serve" rule. It seems my guess is true. We might soon see some ND 03 approvals while ealier ND dates are still waiting.

Welcome to the group called Frustrated R US. Lazer is the lead and I, espresoso, others & now you are the member.

You cant do anything. There is no thing as first come first serve and in all
fairness, you shouldn't expect first come first serve anywhere. If an applicant has his application complete as per USCIS standards, his case gets looked at..otherwise it gets put in the queue. Maybe its not fair for you but in their eyes, they are saying "Well he is not complete, i will go to the next"...Thats why they write that RFE may delay your case.

Nothing will happen so be patient. If you ask your congresman, the USCIS will say they are still working on your case.

believe it or not a freind of mine with ND 2004 got a mail last week for an interview next month. there is no first come first serve.

After many attempts at calling and visiting the CIS with no results, my friend went to her congressman, and three weeks later received her GC, along with a letter from her congressman saying that he was happy to help.

Congressional intervention works really well most of the time. :) :)
