I dont have the time to post all the details, but the case is from DV-08. They were a family of four, the father was the primary applicant and i know the son, he's in my school. This is from Nepal.

They won DV-08, but never knew about it -- because someone stole their Notification Letter from the post office (yes, that's how things are in Nepal).

The father, the primary applicant applies for a tourist visa -- councellor tells him that he can't get it cuz he won DV -- immigrant intent. The guy tells the councellor that he does not know anythinmg about it.

Somehow, the councellor decides that he is going to be very kind to them. Tells him that he'll see what can be done. In the meantime the family fill out their forms and send it to KCC -- they really don't know thier Case Number.

Fast for ward many months, the same councellor calls them and tells them that thier interview is in this date -- prepare for it.

They go to the interview, guess who's taking it -- the same guy. When they, the family ask him, "Aren't you gonna take our interview?", the councellor laughs and says -- its cuz of me that youre even here -- why the hell would i not want you to get the visas. Tells them to sign the papers and pick up thier visas in a few days.

They all go to the US -- the two children stay -- the parents come back -- they dont want it.

Wow.

Please, everyone comment on this story -- yess Tazmania and Raevsky too. And this is not a story -- it really did happen.!!!

great story. Good things happen to good people.

I would say his comment is too personal to appear at the interview. They are not supposed to say things like that, even if they think so
