received EAD and FP notice

Received my EAD card today along with my finger print notice !

I\'m scheduled for 12/7 but I\'ll probably try to get "early" finger
print next week.

Hi J CCC

Did you take any action when your wife received FP notice before yours, though you are primary applicant? For me, it did confuse me, how come dependent applicant recieved FP notice first? How about mine? Should I call IIO to talk about this issue? What is your suggession?
Any other\'s input appreciate!

I called my lawyer when my wife\'s FP notice came. My lawyer said he would call IIO and see if he could find out anything. I am not sure if my lawyer had called IIO or not. But he did mention me that INS is trying to using their new system to send out the FP notice. I don\'t know if this is true or not.

All my AP, EAD were went very smoothly, however, my wife got both REF on her AP and EAD. both of REFs require my copy of I-140 and marriage certificate. My wife got her AP approved after 1 month later, and still waitting for her EAD. Since my wife and me both have H-1B visa, we are not really care about the EAD.

Do you have lawyer who handle your cases? Ask him/her if he/she can call IIO for you or consult them for this kinda situation. You might call IIO and discuss this matter with them, but I doubt it if this can do any better on your case. Some IIO only tell you something which they see on their data system once you give them your information. Don\'t expect that they will answer your questions regarding Why, When, What, Where and How. Just my 2 cents.
 
Received one EAD card

We received one EAD card. Waiting for the spouse\'s EAD card.
As per AVM, both of our EADs approved on 10/25
 
FP Done in Tampa,FL

Hello,
        I have completed my FP process at Tampa,FL on the scheduled date. After couple of tries with the FP machine, the machiine accepted mt finger prints without any ridge breaks.

EAD Approval

First you will hear message regarding "It will take 120-140 days..."

Then next stage is you will hear "We ordered a new card ..."

When you hear message "This case has been Approved...",

you should get your EAD within a week from the approval date. For
me the EAD approved on 1st Nov and I received on 3rd. For my wife
it was approved on 1st Nov and we received on 5th though.
 
Early FP done

Most of our details match. For me -

RD: 4/23/01
ND: 6/20/01
EAD: 11/1/01
FP: 11/27/01 did on 10/30/01 at San Jose around 3:00 pm.

[I am from Sunnyvale too :).]

May be we should keep in touch. Hopefully ours will be approved
within similar time frame.

I called FBI and they said that they "run their tests and results
were mailed back to INS". Don\'t know if that means print quality
was good or not?
 
Summary as of 11/7

Finally Kakinada "the Veteran" got his FP notice.. Probably Seattle is the least fortunate area from the INS point of view ;-)

Sangli, I also called up FBI and they said it has been
sent out to INS on 10/30, the lady from FBI said FP was OK.
Just waiting for approval. We should keep in touch, so that
we can get each others status.
 
Called INS today

Sriman,

   I called FBI on 11/02/01 and they said that they have mailed back
the results. They did not tell if the prints were ok or not ok?

   Today I called INS. Got to talk with an IIO. She was not very
nice. She asked for my WAC number and said that she did not find
any information regarding my finger prints in the system. She told
me to wait till I receive further communication from INS. I don\'t
know what that means? I may be out of job after mid Feb. Hope
that I get my GC approved or any RFE before that.
 
Calling FBI

Hi,

    Last week I called FBI to get the status of my finger prints.
They said that they have run the tests and send the results back
to INS. They did not tell if the finger prints were ok or not.

I called INS and the IIO asked me about my WAC number. She did
not find any info regarding my finger prints. She told me to wait
till I get further communication from INS.

Now question is -

    IS IT OK TO CALL INS AGAIN SOMETIME NEXT WEEK TO FIND OUT OR WILL
    THAT AFFECT MY CASE.

    IS IT OK TO CALL FBI AGAIN TO FINDOUT STATUS OF FINGER PRINTS OR
    WILL THAT CAUSE PROBLEMS TOO?

ANY EXPERIENCE OR COMMENTS ?????
