Hi to all,

I have a few questions:

First...let's start with this one.

1.At the citizenship interview what kind of document can I use to substitute the NP?

2.I was granted PR on December, 1 2004, when can I apply for citizenship (is it Sep, 1 2009)?

3.Is it true like what is bieng said in this thread that we can enter the US without a NP and only with a green card?

Btw, this is a great forums, keep it up guys!

1. You do not need a substitute if you do not have a passport.

2. Five years from the "resident since date" that appears on your green card. If your card is asylum-based, the "resident since date" is one year before the actual date of approval.

3. Yes.

Thankful,

Can't he actually send his N-400 4 years 9 months from the date on GC, which is September, 2009?
