TD Visa - Non Canadian spouse

Dear Forum members,

I have a question in regards to applying for the TD visa for my non-Canadian spouse and my step-son. I'm thinking of the following documents required for this purpose.

Myself (TN Visa Holder)
- I-94
- Copy of my Canadian Passport
- US Company Letter (mentioning that I'm their employee on a TN Status)
- Pay Stubs (6 months)
- Letter to the Visa officer

Non Canadian Spouse
- Job related documents
- Passport
- Marriage Certificate

Step-Son
- Court custody documents (we have his full custody, in which he is allowed to travel and apply for visas as well)
- School documents (as they will not be moving permanently to US)
- Passport

Can someone please advise, if I missed anything that might help in this process.

Thanks.

You do not need to provide paystubs, the current letter from your employer is sufficient.
Your spouse does not need any "Job related documents" -- she can't be working in US
Your step-son doesn't need to provide "school documents" - this has nothing to do with getting a TD.

Note that if they are not coming to live with your in US, they can simply have a B1/B2 visa, but a TD would cover any future decision to move to US.
