TD visa for non canadian step son living abroad

Hi,

I'm working here in the US under TN, and plan to marry my non canadian fiancee who lives in Asia, after my TN extension next year. I understand that non canadian (and mexican) spouses are eligible to apply for TD visa to be with the principal TN holder here in North America. Just wondering if I can also bring her 12 year old son from previous marriage, as TD dependent (step-son).

Is your stepson actually your son or is he just the son of your wife? That is, did you adopt him after you married your wife? The TD status is for spouses and children of the TN holder only. Your stepson might not qualify as your child.
