Tax return for visa

Hi,

I wish to send documents to my parents for the purpose of a visitor visa. Unfortunately my 2006 tax return xerox is incomplete - I have only the 1st page xeroxed. My question is if I obtain a copy/certified copy of my return from IRS, would that work? Has anyone faced a similar situation?

Also, is only the latest tax retrun required or the last 2 years?

Call the IRS and request the 2006 Transcripts, they can mail them to you in like 2 weeks.

ps: nobody says "xerox" anymore. Use the word "photocopy"
 
Tax transcripts

Will the transcripts be accepted at the Mumbai consulate? Has anyone had experience with submitting transcripts?
