Talked to i/o NSC

I called USCIS to ask about my case. This time I got an IO  instead of a useless Customer service Rep. :(
Very nice lady told me that my FP results came the same day I gave them ie. June 26th. she said they have 18000 cases so it will take time to update the system.
she said she will send e-mail to have system updated with my case. hopefully that should trigger an approval soon. :D

Same Reply from NSC

I called NSC again and got the same status "Case is in the staging area waiting for the review. Call us again in 30 days to check the status" :(

She insisted that they are going by RD but there may be some exception because of the large number of cases (18,000 or so).
One new thing she mentioned that from staging area, someone will review it and then it will be assigned to the Adjudicating Officer.

At least the status part is consistent with the previous call and local USCIS office letter

Spoke with NSC today dont know she is IO or Customer rep..
She checked my case and said looks everything cleared but they dont have access to check for FBI name check blah...blah...some stories she made.
I asked my case status she said they recieved my 2FP electronically
yesterday and decision will take in 120 days .

Earlier yesteday i called they told I have to wait 40 to 60 days after my 2FP ,
all my checks are cleared and they are waiting for an officer to review my case after they recieve my 2FP.

now she says 120 days, I think each person says something like that .....

Dont know when to expect approval or I am going to miss the boat this time.

It means they are not processing the cases which were transferred from CSC->NSC in March 2007. They are only working on Feb 2007 transferred cases even though the PD/RD are later than the once transferred in March. :(

Strange USCIS

Same stuff....called up again today, they said it is assigned to an officer and in review. I asked her if about the visa number availability and she said visa numbers are currently available and my application being considered.
well, no luck for me yet.

Does assigned to an officer for review means your case has been assigned a visa number? I was reading about this somewhere on the forum.

I called up again in the afternoon. My wife called up too. My wife's case is assigned to an officer. Mine is not assigned to an officer. They said my file is moving ( no clue where to ) . They cannot make a decision on my wive's file since I'm the primary...So back to square 1.

I posed same question to her and she replied that visa numbers are currently available and pending applications were considered for it.
