Suplemantal Hearing

Hi Gurus,

I had a succesfull interview 4 months ago and received a congrats letter, but did not receive my oath letter until today. I was considering to sue them but today received a letter with a title Suplemental Hearing for naturalization and saying ask for Officer XXXXX. Any idea?

Sounds like a secondary interview. Anything unusual about your case like is it marriage based or did you ever commit any crimes?
 
Merriage certificate, birth certificate of our son, shared bank accounts, tax returns and transcripts, utilities bills on both names etc etc. Tens of them.
 
For some reason (perhaps to re verify marital union) the IO wants to go over the details of your case one last time.

Is this the first marriage for both you and your wife?

When you go back for this interview, remind the IO that it's been over 4 months since original interview and that you are ready to file lawsuit.

It was my first merriage but my wife's second. But it is all documented on her side. Why 6 months but not 4 months? I thought 4 months was a must to make a decision. Thank you for your advices and information you provided above.

That's correct..it's 120 days after interview (4 months) ..disregard the 6 month comment.
