Is anybody in here living in Maryland? I need some suggestions. I'm moving over to Maryland this summer ( not confirmed whether its permanent or temporary ) from Iowa.

I'm not sure on where I will be going to Graduate school. My dad lives in Cali, and I'd have moved there but the current economic conditions hampered my move. So, how does state residency in MD work? 1 year physical presence?

Also, say I moved to Maryland and then wanted to go to Grad School in Cali, I'd no longer be eligible as a in-state resident, would I?

yes one year of residence to get in state tuition. once you move there, get a driver's license and then (if possible) get a job.

what is your current state of residence now?

Iowa. Not entirely sure on whether I'll come back or not though.

You may want to contact each school you are thinking of and find out what their residency requirements are.
