Well, I think what Rahul Kumar posted was never meant to be an approach. It was more like "exploit" or "loophole". When people started using it en masse, the "loophole" was closed permanently.
That will explain lack of recent positive results.
And, when writing letters to FBI, I think you should substantiate: "Why do they have to pull MY case out of the line and put it on a fast track".
-- Do we know for sure that name check is done in the order ? I do not think so. How would you explain 485 approvals within few months. ? Or only few unfortunate people are selected for the the name check. ?
I do not think FOIPA with "no records" and/or pending for xxx months is good enough a substantiation. I bet, there are many many people in line with neg FOIPA/xxx months and they clearly see it at FBI.
So, i think it is time for something new. The only problem i don't know what else to try
1) Senator's office (not much success here)
2) Congressman office (not much success here)
3) Letters to FBI (looks like they ignore them now), even with this FOIPA thing.
4) Writ of mandamus (will probably work for future citizens but unclear will AOS applicants benefit, since there is no preset time limits for namecheck)
-- If I am not mistaken Rahul's case was for citizenship and not for AOS. May be AOS cases are not taken seriously.
I wonder what else?
