Stuck in Name Check Again?

I sent my N400 few days back and I am hoping that processing will take normal time.

My GC application was stuck in name check for more than 2 years. Eventually, I had to file a lawsuit to get my GC.

How likely it is that I will be stuck again? Has anyone gone through this? I am keeping my fingers crossed. However, I do not want to waste any time. How long should I wait until I act?

You only sent N400 13 days ago. Everything now is normal. You will receive FP notice within next 2 weeks (there is a even a chance you get it today)

Are common names the ones usually stuck like this? or is it by nationality? if not what is the reason?

Over the last year USCIS and FBI have more or less completely eliminated significant delays caused by the FBI Name Check. Earlier it was fairly common for people to be stuck in the Name Check for 2 years or so (in particular this happened to me), but everyone who filed their N-400 in 2009 seem to have their FBI Name Checks completed rather quickly, within 3 months and even faster.
So it is unlikely that you'll be stuck in the name check this time around. Basically if you get an interview letter (or if the online case status indicates that your case has been transferred to a local DO and put in line for an interview), that is a pretty reliable indication that the name check has been completed.

Got it! I just hope that mine doesn't take long. My name is not common and Im from Cuba so hopefully Im ok hahahhaa
