Strange email from USCIS on my Removal of condition status

Hello,

I received an email notification yesterday that USCIS has approved my case for the Removal of condition of my permanent residence? .... thats strange.

It also says that they have sent me the approval notification on May 1 2009.
Please note - it says 2009...

Clearly its a mistake.

I had my citizenship interview and I have been waiting for my oath date, and during the interview, the officer had said that he is recommending me for approval of the citizenship interview.

If anyone has any comments, recommendation or has had a similar notice in error, can you please reply to this post?

I am wondeirng if I should to the local DO with this email and find out whats going on? Or this is normal and I should just ignore it.

Also, note, I am getting close to a month from my interview and have had no new after that.

Did the email reference an A# that matches yours?
Did you obtain your GC via marriage?
 
It references the receipt number for my green card process.

Yes, my GC is based on marriage and last year I was approved for permanent resident and the condition on my PR was removed. (basically was approved for GC based on marriage)

Checking my status for the Citizenship process, the automated national service line still gives me the old status (your case has been transfered to a local office and an interview will be scheduled ... or something on those lines) But I have completed my interview on April 12th 2010.

I wouldn't worry about the email. It's likely the result of email status maintenance that was done which caused you to receive outdated information.
As for the online status, it's inaccurate so don't rely on it.

I was going to wait for a month and then call the National service line to get an update.
