do i have to write a letter inviting them to US? if yes what should the letter content be?

Step one: Stay out of it.

Step two: They review INA 101(a)(15)(B) [describing the desired visa] and INA 214(b) [describing the statutorily prescribed presumption that every one is an intending immigrant until they prove otherwise.]

Step three: They apply and meet the requirements on their own by a showing of evidence that they have strong ties to home and will depart after their visit and have sufficient financial resources. The only things that you might do is offer accommodation for them in your home during their visit and perhaps suggest some of the things you all might do together. Perhaps there are some special events happening (birthdays, anniversaries, cultural, ethnic or religious observances or celebrations, perhaps you live near something interesting: the Grand Canyon, the Statue of Liberty, Washington, DC?).

Step four: See step one.

Why? No one is allowed to visit the US unless invited? Every year, hundreds of thousands of visitors come to the US for Disneyland, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, etc. The need for an invitation is just a myth amongst certain group of nationalities. I have been on this forum for 5 years and still haven't discovered the point of origin of this myth!!!

do i have to write a letter inviting them to US?
