Status of I-485 cases with ND 5th April 2004

It may not be practically possible for a person to scan for multiple dates as there is a limit on how many cases can be scanned from any one IP in a 24 hr period. Read post # 8 of this thread and you can scan for your date yourself.

Hi,
Thanks to you and Vaasista also. I just ran the scan for my ND 05/20/2004 and it updated the tracker with the I-485 cases on that day. There are 33 cases in total and none of them are approved.
12 cases have FP received/Resumed
14 cases have status as Received
5 cases have Transfered status
2 cases have Misc status.
I will post the details in separate thread as well. I could see the correct status of my cases as well.

WantGCIn2005,
there should be a lot more than 33 cases for 485 on any particular day. Typically the number is between 130 and 200. Did you run the scan just once for the whole range (50000 - 54000). If so, it may have errored out after the first 200 cases were scanned and you probably didn't notice them.

You need to scan in sets of 200 cases at a time. (ex: 50001 to 50200, 50201 - 50400 and so on). If you have a dynamic ip broadband, you can simply reconnect and scan each set of 200 cases. Otherwise you'll have to wait till the next day to scan the next set of 200 cases(can take upto 20 days to run the initial scan for a single day's worth of cases).

It becomes a lot easier once you identified all the cases (typically less than 200) as you scan these cases every single day without being subject to the daily limit.

The range of numbers I gave was from 50000-500200. The output file that was created had only 33 entries. Also I think it had static IP at my work place. I will scan later again. I dont think it errored out, the range I entered was small. What is the average number of 485 apps per day? Any idea?

Average number of 485 apps per day is around 170

My case and my wife's case were approved. My daughter's case is still waiting.

Just now I received my 485 card ordered email.

I received 4 emails for my case and 2 for my wife. No LUD on my daughter's case.

Datails:
EB3/INDIA/Sub. LC/PD-May 1999
140/485 - ND - 04/05/2004
140 - AD - 9/22/2004
FP & Biometrics Done - 3/1/05
485 - AD - 04/12/2005

There are no LUD's after FP Recd. message on 3/8/2005.

I tried to do what you said but it stopped scanning after 200 cases. It didnot even reach my case. I will try to continue again tomorrow. Thanks for letting me know about this.

After scanning 70 cases out of 132 for current status, my IP has blocked.
I will post the updates from home later tonight.

Thanks for your wishes. I am just keeping my fingers crossed. My FP date was march 04, 2005.
I still cannot scan because the IP was blocked and it is more than 24 hrs, it is not released.

You are right. I applied for my daughter in last November.
I want to wait for a week and if noting happens by that time, I want to make an enquiry.

Is your son/daughter case approved? I think you also filed his/her application later, I mean not along with your application. am I right?

i have a situation here where i have scanned aound 200 cases and when i tried to access my customer profile its giving message that EAC# is not valid to most of my EAC# and in one of the case its gave me a message that the IP address is blockd dure to over use ...

share your experience please ?

Yes. So may times and they released in 24 to 48 hours.

If you scan more than 200 cases in a day you will be in trouble. Once they block the IP for that perticular day, we can't even check our cases in the profile too.

As there are totally 211 cases for 4/5/04, I moved the transfered cases(Approx. 40) from my regular scanner. There won't be any updates on transfered cases. With that my daily scanner became less than 200.

Don't worry they will release your IP in 24 to 48 hours.

Peope who have used this scan successfully, I tried to do as instructed, It downloads a file upto 95KB but i cannot see any data. Am i doing something wrong.
