Hi,

I have just got my 'h1 renewal' approved from Vermont INS. Obviously, my wife (H4) also got approval. We live in PA.

1. Now being in USA, where should I mail our passports to get 'em stamped?
2. Is it safe to send our passports, without getting 'em lost?
3. What is the processing time?
4. What documents should be attached along with passports?

>> I guess so since everybody is sending the original passport. Make sure u mail it with return receipt etc and Fedex bill incase u want to track the documents.

3. What is the processing time?
>> It depends, anywhere from 2 moths to x months

4. What documents should be attached along with passports?

Thank you for your immediate reply. I visted the website and found:

"Each applicant for a visitor visa must pay a nonrefundable US$100 application fee and submit:"

Since my visa is not visitors, does it mean US$100 fee is not applicable to me and my wife?
