Stamping in Can/Mex for Fresh H1

Hi,

I just received my approval about 2 1/2 weeks back and have not even received my first pay stub. i have to visit canada for 2/3 days next month and i'm somewhat worried about the stamping part from there.
i'm thinking of going to mexico first and getting the stamp from there. i'm a canadian pr though, so would it matter?

is mexico safer than canada or is it the same?
does mexico also need the one month wait for interview like canada?
lastly, is it risky since my H1 is very fresh and by the time i reach either mexico or canada, i probably will have just 2 paystubs.
(i have a degree from US if that matters).

Go with perfect documentation

which field you are in. If it is research sector, prepare for delay for 3-4 weeks. If it is software u r in, then check for documents to be submitted. This forum has all details.

I am stuck here for first time H1 stamping and me too Canadian PR But i am in Research side.

i'm in software.
i dont' know why but i'm a little worried about getting the stamping done in canada. went last yr for the visitors visa to US and they are a mighty big ..formidable.. pain.

is there any reason why canada is better for can. pr?

also, silly though it may sound but what's a better choice for stamping, toronto or montreal?

lastly, do i have to get the regular appointment (which is usually a month wait) or is there any speedy process for H1 stamping?
