stamping after green card

does one have to get the passport stamped even after getting the green card, do we still need to preserve the I-94 and previous visa papers for future.

I would preserve those documents. No harm in keeping them.

Stamping is for people who have not received their cards after a long time since being approved. It is not for people with the card in their hand.

No stamping required! Keeping old paperwork may be useful, but certainly not required.

With the improvement in timeframe for issuing GCs after approval (days instead of weeks/months), passport stamping is no longer the norm.
