SSN(Social Security Number) denial Letter for asylum applicant

hi my friends hope you're okay

in the driver license center they told me that i need a SSN denial letter to applied for DL and i need to know if an asylum applicant can get that denial letter

for information i applied for the asylum a month ago and I'm waiting for my asylum interview notice and i'm here with b-1 business visa until December 4.

hope someone can give me an idea if i can or not get such latter to applied for Driver License

A Denial letter? What do you mean? I've never hear of it! A denial letter before the interview?!?!? You havent had an interview yet, no decision!
 
It's called letter of ineligibility

"If you are ineligible for a Social Security number, you must have a letter of ineligibility from the Social Security Administration attesting to that fact. Letters that are more than 30 days old will not be accepted. "
 
thanks a lot guys for your help i'm gonna ask that letter of ineligibility from the social security center and we'll see.
