Spouse on TN laid Off Please help urgent!!!!

My wife was on TN until she was laid off today. I am currently on TN status. What would be the next step I need to take in order to have her a valid status?
 
Mail in I-539 for TD status today, or go to the border within the next few days and re-enter on TD.

She will need proof of your TN and marriage in either case.

I would simply go to the border.
