---- it seems that she is also on H1, she needs her independent LC pending more than 365 days to extend her 7th year H1 status, she Cannot use your LC to extend her 7th year H1, but she can change from H1B to H4 based on your 7th year H1 and she need to file COS before her I-94 gets expired.

I have similiar question here. My H1B will expire in July 2007, I did not start my GC application but my wife is applying for GC (with NIW, because I guess that is faster than LC) for us, my question is: if my wife sumbit the application and get I140 approved before the expiration of my H1B, can I extend my H1B in this situation?
