Spouse Green Card query - please help

My brother-in-law - Mr. T got Green Card recently. But when it was applied (by T's brother 15 years back) T was not married. Now, if Mr. T submits application for his wife wife, how many years T should expect before T's wife can get here? T's GC was approved just 2 weeks back.

Can she apply for visit visa while processing for the GC and really have a chance to get it?

Mr. T is from Bangladesh (I heard sometimes the nationality plays a role for getting approval of Green Card, I thought this information of his nationality may be required).

Had Mr.T been married before his GC was approved, his wife would have gotten hers at the same time. Now she has a 4-6 year wait.

But the application for GC was submitted long back and my brother in law never got a response for last 5/6 years until recently when he was called for few papers. However, at that time it was already late since it was almost at the end of the process and he got married by that time.

If he was already married at the time he became a PR then the wife comes under follow to join, and it should be just a few months.
