Please see my case below and let me know any of you can give any advice:

Currently, I am on H1B visa. My wife applied for my GC after we got married. However, she was not citizen at that time. My I-130 got approved and now I am waiting for papers from National Visa Center. My priority date is April 2001. Now, my has become a citizen. What are my options? Should I start a new file or just file for I-485? Please note that I did not file for I-485 along with I-130 so this will be my first I485.

Also, I heard that there is a pilot program in TX which can get you GC in 3 months if you spouse is a citizen. Where can I get details regarding that?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Eric

if you live in Dallas, TX, you are eligible for their three months program.

otherwise, you are just like the rest of us.

You can go ahead and apply for AOS with proof of your wife's citizenship and a copy of approved I-130. Make an infopass appt to get details. You may need to send the proof to the service center first to get I-130 transferred to the Citizen's category, or you may go the way I described above. In any case, I'd go to the BCIS office and ask. :)
