Sponsored relative thru I-864 and now have to go abroad

Here is my question.

Couple months back i sponsored by relative (who is married to US citizen) through I-864. I understand that i have to let USCIS know about my change of address by filing I-865 with 30days of my move to new address.

My problem now is that my relative is entering USA end of May '09 but i have my job is moving me to middle east for couple year or may be permanent.

-What will happen to I-864? would it remain valid?
-What are consequences for my relative? Can he enter? Would he have to find another sponsor?

Any other things i should know about?

The I-864 is an agreement between you and USCIS. It will remain valid. As long as this sponsored relative does not become a burden on the welfare system, it really should not matter that you left the US right after the I-864 came into force.
