sponsor with conditional GC

can a person who has a condition green card less than a year(based on marriage AOS) be co-sponsor for another married couple.(i-864) or he needs to have his permanent green card.thank you!
 
thank you for this answer. but i got confused. i called 5 lawyers.4 of them said no. if the green card is going to be expired in a year then the person cant be a co sponsor for anyone. the last lawyer- said yes since she had a case like that and there was no problem. and now you are saying yes too.is it a personal example or you heard about that somewhere? really appreciate any answer to make a desicion.

May be Technical ! There is no difference between conditional and unconditional permanent resident except expiry date of card
 
Do not trust the 5th attorney. Do not trust me. Read the I-864 instructions.
