Sponsor tourist visa - Is this possible ????????

Hi
I have my EAD through husband, planning to file for H1 this April and would get it in October 2011. I want to bring my mother's younger sister (Aunty) for helping me here in US. Can I sponsor her using my EAD, pay check, bank statements or wait till I get H1 approved and stamped and then file for her ? Will the Immigration officers accept me petition when I am EAD or I have to have H1 or greencard to do it ?

Also how bright are the chances of someone who is not a parent getting visa B1/B2 tourist visa ?
Have u seen any cases ?

Tourist visas don't have sponsors. They are applied for on one's own behalf. A B-2 requires showing "no immigrant intent", "a foreign residence that the person has no intention of abnadoning", "finacial self support", and "strong tiews to home country"...a reason to leave the U.S. after short visit. The fact that she is not your parent is good BUT a younger aunt who is single and looking for a husband has other issues to overcome at the Consulate.

What kind of EAD do you have? If you are already work authorized what's the point in getting an H1-B? Are you an L2 on the verge of divorce or an L1 spouse about to lose his job? Have you filed an I-485?

On verge of divorce and want to bring aunt for help to look after my 2 kids.
Can I sponsor her now ?
Or wait till next year to get my h1 stamped ?

THIS IS ILLEGAL ACCORDING TO THE LIMITATIONS OF A B2 VISA. You need to arrange LEGAL child care - day care center, nanny,...

When you are on H1B, you are a highly paid workers by US standards. If you cannot manage to pay for child care on your wage, you need to go home to work where you aunt can LEGALLY care for your children.

And people wonder why it is difficult for individuals from certain countries to get B2 visas. Your aunt should be denied - for proper reason.

- Your H1 Stamp or EAD has nothing to do with person who apply for visitor visa
